I bought the slightly larger size to make sure my wide size shoes fit into the shoe covers.
The package arrived very compact and I was able to put them into my suitcase while traveling. When it started to rain, I sat down and took my shoes off to insert them into the shoe covers. The covers have a side zipper and a strap across the top of the shoe cover to hold them in place.
My shoes stayed dry in heavy rain and since my pants were tucked into the upper part of the cover, they stayed dry as well.
I would recommend these if you know you are going to be out in the rain.

These are so lightweight and easy to carry along on trips. I have used them in many different terrains and love them. They not only keep my shoes dry and clean, but they also protect me from bugs climbing in my shoes!
I’ve tried other shoe covers and they all sprung a leak the first time I wore them. This worked great! I wear a women’s 7 and I ordered size bigger and I’m glad I did as they fit perfectly…any smaller and they would not have fit.
They are a bit hard to get on but once I stopped worrying about tearing them, they were much easier to get on.
